Packaged Equipment Engineering!


EPC365 Packaged Equipment engineers will perform the following activities: 

  • Prepare material requisitions for design, manufacture, assembly, inspection and testing for all packaged equipment with auxiliaries equipment within the package.
  • Specify packaged equipment with auxiliaries to be prepared by SUPPLIER in accordance with all reference specifications.
  • Define all reference specifications including mechanical specifications, and piping, electrical, painting, steel structure and instrumentation control specifications to be adopted within the package.
  • Define shop testing requirements for equipment within the package.
  • Specify battery limit for piping, electrical and control system for the package SUPPLIER.
  • Specify the performance guarantee requirements.
  • Coordination with other disciplines design work 
  • Define extent of shop assembly and extent to which shop assembled system will be shipped.
  • Perform technical evaluation of SUPPLIER’s quotation.
  • Verify SUPPLIER standard for various items against project specifications for conformity and compliance
  • Execute technical clarifications meeting with a potential SUPPLIER will be held prior to issuance of purchase order of the packaged equipment, if necessary
  • Execute kick-off meeting with a successful SUPPLIER after purchase order.
  • Check and approval of SUPPLIER data, drawings, calculations and documentation.
  • Review SUPPLIER control narratives and sequence logic diagram to ensure reliable operation of packaged equipment and/or compliance with the requirements for PCS operation or packaged equipment and/or compliance with the requirement for PCS communication.
  • Prepare engineering information for disciplines based on SUPPLIER drawings/documents.​
  • Rectify all deficiencies and changes as a result of HAZOP
