Computer Aided Design (3D model)!

PMC OilPro utilize 3D model from the plot plan study phase and revise it in accordance with the progress of engineering.  All disciplines refer to the same 3D model and add their design items in the model. 

The Project Engineer, who reports to Engineering Manager, will coordinate and control the information flow between various disciplines, e.g., Piping, Civil, Steel Structure, Instrument, and Electrical, to ensure the consistency of the 3D model. PMC OilPro uses a workflow so that the 3D model is always used as master data.  For instance, PMC OilPro receives Company’s approval through a 3D model review and generates material lists and drawings from the model, prepares drawings using the maximum automation.  ​

The following information will be extracted from 3D model:

• Piping plan drawing
• Piping Isometric drawing
  
• Underground general layout drawing
  
• Steel Structure drawing
  
• Material take off data •           
  
• Instrument Location Plans
  

The major purposes of 3D CAD are as follows:

• Clash-free design
• Assurance of design quality by spec driven component placement with design check function
  
• Enabling concurrent multidisciplinary engineering
  
• Enabling sufficient model review by Company and PMC OilPro
  
• Assurance of consistency between 3D model and generated ortho and iso drawings and material reports.
